공식 트레일러에는 메인 테마와 연결된 노래가 나오는데 영화 본편에서는 노래는 나오지 않는다. 곡명은 Seasons in the Sun, 1961년 Jacques Brel이 작곡 노래한 곡이다. John Wick 버전은 Epic Geek이 편곡한 것.

요르단 와디럼 사막 Desert Wadi Rum. 아라비아의 로렌스, 스타워즈, 듄 등 영화 촬영 장소로 많이 사용되는 곳이며 존 윅 3편의 일부 장면도 이 곳에서 촬영되었다.

전령이 뉴욕 컨티넨털에 등장하는 장면

하이 테이블이 보낸 The Harbinger (Clancy Brown)이 입고 있는 더블 코트가 궁금한데 자세한 정보는 찾을 수 없었다. 후반부 결투가 결정되고 난 후에 그가 빈센트에게 했던 "사람이 가지는 야망의 크기는 그가 지닌 가치를 넘어서는 안된다"는 조언이 멋졌다. 능력도 안되는게 그렇게 까불다가 실패할 것이라는 경고.

은퇴한 킬러인 케인은 공원에서 딸 미아가 바이올린 연주를 하는 것을 듣는다. 손에는 미아의 사진이 있는 오르골 목걸이를 쥐고 있고 미아가 연주하는 곡과 동일한 곡이 흘러나온다. Chopin Nocturne No.20 in C# minor Op.Posth. 원래 피아노 곡이나 영화에서는 도입부에 피아노로 시작하여 미아의 마이올린 연주로 이어진다. 케인과 미아 사이에 사연이 있는 곡인 듯하지만 극 중에서는 설명되지 않는다.

TTI weapons certainly get their fair share of screen time in John Wick movies, but few are as cool as the Pit Viper, introduced in the fourth installment. This 9mm pistol features ambidextrous safeties, a flared magwell, 21-round capacity, and a built-in compensator that eliminates muzzle flip. The Pit Viper’s presence in John Wick 4 is something of an advertisement, as the actual model is scheduled for release later this year.

존이 사용한 무기는Taran Tactical Innovation Dracarys Gen-12 샷건이고 12게이지 Dragon's Breath 소이탄을 사용했다. 존이 결투 장소로 이동하기 전, 라디오 방송에서 존의 현상금이 올랐음을 알리자 이를 들은 파리의 한 바운티 헌터팀이 이 샷건과 탄을 준비한다. 이들은 파리 시내의 그 버려진 아파트에서 존과 마주쳤고 이 샷건을 빼앗긴다.

With a name like “Dracarys,” this gun has a lot to live up to. In John Wick 4, the Dracarys is fitted with Dragon’s Breath incendiary rounds comprised largely of magnesium. Wick uses it to light multiple enemies on fire during a spectacular top-own shootout sequence through a large building. It’s one of the key moments in the film, and one of the best in the franchise.
The Dracarys is little more than a modified Genesis Arms Gen-2. However, when loaded with Dragon’s Breath rounds, it turns into a weapon of mass destruction and pyromaniac flair. It should be noted that the explosive flames don’t shoot nearly as far in the film as they do in real life, which can reach well over 100 feet in certain circumstances.

결투를 위해 하이 테이블에서 준비한 무기는 Thompson Center Arms의 Encore Pro Hunter Pistol을 살짝 커스텀한 것이다. 몸통에 장식을 새겼고 손잡이를 나무 재질로 바꾸고 총신 길이도 1/3 정도 잘라낸 듯 하다. 원래 이 회사는 사냥용 레버 액션 소총이 전문인 곳이고 이 피스톨 역시 사냥 목적이다. .308 윈체스터나 .223 레밍턴 탄을 사용하는 것으로 설명되어 있으나 영화에서는 .45 구경의 탄을 사용하고 있다. 사진을 보면 탄피의 길이가 .45-70 거버먼트보다는 짧아보이고 45매그넘보다는 길어보이는데 이 탄도 기성품은 아닌 듯 영화용으로 제작한 .45구경 커스텀 탄인 것 같다. .45-70 거버먼트는 곰도 잡을 위력이고 보통 라이플에 사용하는 것인데 이 탄을 넣은 사냥용 피스톨을 원핸드로 30보에서 쏜다고하면 반동때문에 아무리 존 윅이라도 목표를 맞추지 못할 것 같다.
